Summer Glau, an American actress, is famous for her performances as River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. The Sarah Connor Chronicles also featured her on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. In addition to her appearances as a character in Serenity and Knights of Badassdom she has starred in a variety of TV as well as short films including Mammoth Sarah, the beginning of Deadly Honeymoon Dead End Help for the Vacations as well as Inside the Box. The career of Glau has been characterized by many accolades. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the eldest of three children to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena's professional career started when she was eight years old. She was a member of a father-led band. Selena was the lead guitarist in the group, as did her two older siblings Abraham junior as well as Sister Suzette performing drums. Selena acted as the lead vocalist. The group was dubbed Selena Y Los Dino and Selena would be performing with her siblings in various bars restaurants wedding fairs and many other places. Selena didn't have a great growing up as the group required an extensive amount of time. However, their father Abraham was determined to inspire the band and eventually they were dedicated musicians. Quintanilla was determined, despite being a poor financial situation in the beginning. They worked to become a successful family group. Selena Y Los Dinos became popular in western states in the late 80s. Selena was named Female singer and Performer during the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to receive awards of Tejano awards for music, and they gained notoriety and fame. They were featured on a variety of Spanish TV shows of the Spanish language including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
