Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works for ESPN and is the SportsCenter News Anchor. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since the age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in securing her first post as a production assistant for Univision Miami in which she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next job was as reporter for sports at the CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009, she relocated from Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as a news reporter for The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. She covered stories about the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs in both Texas and Mexico. In addition, she was used on occasion as a weather and sport anchor. She then anchored and reported at Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was assigned more responsibility. She did pieces on the Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. In addition she also co-hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She worked as the anchor for sports on Despierta America Deportes morning show. In the same capacity, she worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports show). Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. The family moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has an older sister. She is the older sister. She divorced her parents shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. The couple stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, where she had been given the opportunity of a job. Antonietta who was in high school who had a vision of how she would like her life to be, visited Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. In the end, she loved the campus and they were offering the degree she was searching for. After high school, she graduated and enrolled into media school at the college. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station director of WRMU (91.1 FM) in which she was a part of. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his passion for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
